Kayley Rose is a visionary artist originally from the United States, born in New York, with a Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in Drawing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. After graduating Magna cum Laude she then went on to Southwestern College to pursue the Masters of Art Therapy Program in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Included was her study of symbols, color and its relationship to the soul and the unconscious using art as a tool of personal healing and transformation. Her study continued in the Mystery Schools of the Ancients. She has been on a quest to tap into the intuitive and collective consciousness of colors, symbols and the creative process.

After New Mexico she went on to California where she produced a set of spiritually awakening meditation cards from highly detailed colored pencil drawings of nature and portals. In California Kayley completed a Masters in Spiritual Science and Doctorate in Transformational Studies. Her artistic influences include long time favorite artists: Matisse and Georgia O’Keefe and more recently Textile Designers: Kaffe Fassett and Philip Jacobs.

Kayley’s extensive background also includes 10 years of textile exploration as well as training in the healing arts. Her work is in private collections and public offices in NC, NM, California and more recently Ireland. Kayley lived in Ireland for over 3 years and during that time had three solo shows of her Irish landscape paintings in Galway City and Clifden.

Her experiences also include radio talk shows and teaching a variety of workshops both in the US and Ireland and her art is a kaleidoscope of these influences and experiences.
